Dara joined AFAC as Development and Fundraising Manager in 2025, bringing over 16 years of experience in organizational development, fundraising, and program leadership across the Arab region and Africa. Before joining AFAC, Dara served as Regional Head of Programs at Bloom, where she led multi-country teams and entrepreneurship programs that supported over 500 social enterprises and more than 20 ecosystem organizations. Dara began her career in communications and digital strategy, working with startups, agencies, and global platforms. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with a major in Marketing from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business and is currently pursuing an Executive MBA in Strategic Leadership at the Valar Institute of the Quantic School of Business and Technology.
