The Boghossian Foundation will award an annual prize to young Lebanese artists, in line with its main objective to stimulate the dialogue between the cultures of the East and the West.
The Prize is awarded each June in Beirut, and rewards three young Lebanese artists, active in visual arts (painting, sculpture, photography and video), Jewelry design and fashion design. For the 2012 open call, the competition will be limited to three fields: Painting, Sculpture and Jewelry design.
The prize is awarded by a jury of twelve personalities of the art world chaired by Albert Boghossian. Each of the winners will receive an award of 10000 us dollars and have the opportunity to reside at the villa Empain in Brussels.
To participate In the competition, please send your applications by duplicated CD sent by registered post to Boghossia Foundation – P.O.Box 166421 Ashrafieh – Beirut, Lebanon, before April 15, 2012.
