MOMA features AFAC Grantees and Jurors

Rania Stephan’s The Three Disappearances of Soad Hosni and Oussama Mohammad's Nujum an-Nahar will be screened at the at the second installment of the film series Mapping Subjectivity: Experimentation in Arab Cinema from the 1960s to Now which is taking place at The Roy and Niuta Titus Theaters at The Museum of Modern Arts (MOMA) in New York.

 

In addition to Mohammad, who is AFAC Express’s first grantee, and Stephan, an AFAC ADFP grantee from 2009, former AFAC juror and renowned filmmaker Mohamed Soueid is also participating in this event with his film Tango el-Amal.

 

This film series is co-organized by The Museum of Modern Art and ArteEast, in association with the Abu Dhabi Film Festival. It will be screening premiers of rarely exhibited works created by master and emerging filmmakers from The Arab world.
