The Arab Fund for Arts and Culture (AFAC) organizes field trips to several Arab countries in order to understand the local cultural scene, discover new talents, promote cooperation and introduce to local artists and cultural institutions AFAC’s grant programs that offer financial and professional support. In this context, the AFAC team is visiting Jordan on the 2nd and 3rd of March, to be re-introduced to the local cultural and artistic scene, and present AFAC’s grants programs to potential beneficiaries.
AFAC founded and based in Amman from 2007 to 2010 will be at The Khalid Shoman Foundation - Darat al Funun on the 2nd of March (5-7 pm). A special presentation will introduce the work and programs of AFAC, followed by a brief Q&A session and an informal gathering. The event is an opportunity for the Jordanian artistic community to come together and witness firsthand the many types of support available to artists in the Arab region and the impact their future work can achieve through the various available programs.
