A project about nineties Egyptian novelist Hussein Abdel Alim whose death over three year ago caused no fuss, despite the fact that he was a writer that left a mark on the Egyptian novel, carving a new standard Arabic out of Egyptian colloquial language. His biography is a blatant example of the marginalization of countryside writers, as he, while born in Cairo, was predominantly perceived as a writer from Fayoum.
