Between Here and There tells the story of the displacement of two Syrian women, from Hama to Tripoli and then from Beirut onto Europe. The project focuses on their attempt to break away from the patriarchal system and retrieve ownership of their own bodies, exploring the consequences a woman must endure to gain freedom and eventually coming to realize that one’s body is her land and home.
