Al-Shadda Theater (Theater of Distress) operates within extremely complex security, political, economic, environmental, health and psychological conditions. Inspired by the current situation in Sudan, the theater adapts the complex circumstances into a theatrical performance. The theater aims to be a thinking tool to motivate people to ask questions about change, in order to move from the current extreme conditions to better conditions in which the dignity of humans — living or dead — is preserved.
