The Critical Essays project aims to revive the art of critical essays absent in Arab journalism, through long critical essays (3000 words) on cultural issues and works or political and social issues, combining the personal and the public levels. The form of the essay is as important as its content. The various mediums made available by electronic publishing will be explored. Megaphone aspires to solicit the participation of authors from the Arab region, and benefit from its experience to reach a wide young audience.
