Combining found and original images, drawings, audio recordings (collected from the Jordanian radio archives) and film (footage shot in various locations in Amman), “The Authentic Bedouin” is a multi-media installation that uses music as an alternative platform for exploring history. The project also explores the political motives of how and why the Bedouin became the national image of Jordan.
