A series of black comedies and fantasy tales that explore Iraqi anxiety during the decades of totalitarian rule and American invasion. Characters include an Iraqi citizen experiencing exile and alienation and Europeans struggling to relate to illegal immigrants. The stories also include little vignettes of life in Finland, where the author currently lives.
