The Disquiet

Can science teach us something about the nature of change? In a moment where the region is on a turning point and events are moving faster than one can grasp, perhaps the much slower and visually evident pace of geological movement can shed light on the question: how can we deal with a reality that is constantly morphing? And how do artists in particular deal with representing change? This project turns towards geology and the study of earthquakes in Lebanon as a subject that could open to many sub-readings and interpretations about the situation of the country today.
